Hedgehogs

I have been studying hedgehogs on and off for 20 years now - they are a fascinating animal, the perfect animal to follow as they really do not run too fast! But their interest is more than just the ecological research - they are also threatened by a cull in the Uists, where they have been implicated in the demise of some ground-nesting birds. So there are photographs from the Uists, from research I have undertaken, as well as images of them in all their loveliness!
