weighing a hedgehog

A call from a neighbour - he had found this small hedgehog, alone, shivering and still in daylight - following a heavy downpour. He put it in a box, lined with newspaper, provided it with an old towel for bedding and plenty of food and water - including worms from his compost heap. A hotwater bottle was placed under the box. And this little chap flourished! Weighing him during the process meant we could check he was feeding - his weight increased from 100g to over 300g.
